Exclusive Pictures of David Archuleta Visiting the Manila Philippines Temple

David Archuleta spared some time amidst his hectic schedule to visit "The House of the Lord" or the LDS Temple in Manila Philippines

David Archie wanted to be somewhere where he could be alone with the Lord but I guess with words spreading so easily and his fame, I doubt he'll easily have it.

In the hallow of Thy hands as he grows from boy to man...

How I wish I was this sister..

Another lucky sister...

David Archuleta, still not used to the cameras?

American Idol 1st runner up, David Archuleta, was spotted in the Manila Philippines Temple before the concert with David Cook. David Archie, who was born as a Latter-Day Saint (a.k.a Mormon) never once in a while forget his obligation to the Lord. Sources revealed that his aunt even attended the sessions while our American idol was baptized in behalf of the dead for an ordinance that Latter-Day Saints perform in the holy temples at around 7:00 until 8:00 in the morning on Friday.

There are many sacred ordinances done in the temple such as Temple or Celestial Marriage, Family Sealing, Endowment and Baptism for the Dead. David Archie and his aunt dropped by the Manila Philippines temple to perform some.

Saturday night was the big day wherein he and David Cook dazzled the Filipinos with their charm and talents in singing.

On Sunday afternoon around 2:00-3:00, he and his aunt went to the Guadalupe Chapel to attend their sacrament services. Ricky Cuenco shared that David Archuleta even sang, "Be Still My Soul", a LDS hymn, in Guadalupe Chapel, Bonifacio Ward, of the said church during their congregational hymn. Wow they had him sing for free! haha..

David Archuleta really proves that despite all his fame and success, he still wouldn't be able to accomplish things without the Lord's help. He only gave a very good example of a faithful servant of the Lord and a real American Idol.

When did he visit Guadalupe Chapel? Did he really attend the Sunday service at that chapel? I thought he left the Philippines several hours after the concert...

Now this is a real exclusive! Congrats JonhaR! It's great to know that even if this guy is famous he still doesn't forget his past and religion. If only all popular people are like him, the world will be a better place ano? Because if one idolizes somebody, one usually follows/copies whatever they do. So if every popular person is religious, it would be really a nice world guid. :)

Oh well, dream on Mary Jane..Hehehe

It's so exclusive that even JustJared & Perez would freak out..kiddin..LOL

You're right about following what you the people you admire do. I like Lea Salonga a lot cuz she's so humble though she has accomplished a lot.

David Archie tried to be discreet about this but hey, "wherever you go, we always know" ..haha.

Thanks for dropping by :)

You're right about that kapes. Hey thanks for leaving a comment though it was pretty hard for you to do that on your mobile. You're doing awesome! hehe...

I am so amazed with David! Super! He's like .. . I dont know! hehe He's going on a mission next year! keep your fingers crossed Philipines!

Jonha Ducayag Revesencio said...

Well my only prayer is that HE WILL serve his mission eventually. I even wished he won't get called in the Philippines or US or his whole mission will be er, messed up.

It will be fun how the people in Africa will react to his fame. Or do they even know him,hehe..

So I think it'd be better for him to be assigned there so all parties could focus.

He sure is so amazing Pat! He's a good example of a virtuous young man.

Wow mas naging idol ko pa sya kasi religious palaa talaga syang tao. Grabee na tlagang level ang kabaitan nya. Anong mission?

Sharmaine said...

Going on a mission will be the best decision of yours. It is a two years sacrifice or service to the Lord. If you're going on a mission, you will be called a Full-time Missionaries. Full-time Missionaries are the one who spread the gospel of God on a certain place.

David don't really exactly said yes or no. But he said that music is his mission.

If he will go, it should be in a place that nobody knows him.

Jonha Ducayag Revesencio said...

Thanks for taking over Sharmaine :)
We could only hope that he will indeed serve his mission, whatever he thinks that is. Let's just let him enjoy the moment of fame at this point as the world is also enjoying his example.

I am preparing to serve my mission by next year, perhaps second quarter. Hopefully all things will work out for me. By then, I'd need someone to take over my blog..haha.

Thanks for all the comments and let's all continue supporting the real American Idol of all. :)

He's such a humble and talented kid. We're so lucky to have him in the business. The world is a better place because he makes it even brighter.

Just noticed that some good fan of David Archie linked to my site through CandyMag. It's such a shame I could no longer remember my login to that cool site. But thanks anyway, hopefully you will spread the word to the world how talented and humble David A is. Let's all work on becoming better Archie Angels..hehe.

Thanks again and spread the word, we've got exclusive pics of David Archie here. And to respond on your comments that you were amazed at his being a good LDS, you're right about that. He's so amazing I can only wish he'd serve his mission here. But then again, we can only wish. Only God knows.

For people who are interested to learn more about David's religion, feel free to visit: http://www.lds.org or http://www.mormon.org

You can also approach our full-time missionaries. They're all over the place, they wear neck ties like the one David wore in the temple during his visit.

Thanks agains and CTR!

Does Ricky Cuenco own the pictures? Cause I actually posted the same pictures on Multiply even without asking permission from the owner. I don't really know who owns them, but I've seen a lot of sites with those pics, so I thought it would be OK to post them. I got the pics from my friend's facebook, which she got from her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is actually that brother standing next to David in one of the pics. Was it wrong that I posted those pics? Just want to know...

Jonha Ducayag Revesencio said...

Ricky Cuenco sure do own those pics. Yeah it's pretty crazy how they could scatter way fast without giving credits to the owner. What I'm only concerned about is that MY content being copied without my consent.

I don't think Ricky would mind,we all love to share provided that credits are given.

Hi guys...I'm Ricky Cuenco. She got those from my Facebook Account. It's okay, you can share the pics. It doesn't really matter. But please do mention this blog where you got it okay? Thanks.

Jonha Ducayag Revesencio said...

Hi Kuya Ricky thanks for the support!
I know you won't mind people getting the pics since it's awesome to have the whole world how amazing LDS David is, the only problem I'm encountering now is that some blogs are "stealing' my contents!

Well I don't think copywriting is bad, but simply copying without linking is! Thanks again! I'll be waiting for the other pics of David that you mentioned, was it from Liahona right?
